Meet the Community – Greg Caley
Greg Caley
I grew up in the wilds of Cornwall, my home was the stunning Tamar Valley. We had many beautiful holidays on the north Cornwall coast, playing on the beaches and cliffs from sunrise to sunset! Discovering the wild beauty of the moors with their haunting ruins and ancient history.
I studied at Falmouth school of Art. I went on to complete a BA(hons) in art and design at University of East Anglia. I’ve worked in youth work in supported housing and social housing for the last 25 years.
I have always done some form of art and stayed connected to the art community, regularly visiting exhibitions. I have travelled extensively, visiting many of the major art galleries and museums across Europe.
I have a love of the ocean and everything marine, I have spent a lot of time in the last few years exploring the local coast. Im very interested in the natural landscape and history of the South West.
I’m currently developing my painting skills and exploring themes of grief, loss and hope!
